Electrostatic film is a kind of non-adhesive film, mainly made of PVC material, which depends on the electrostatic adsorption of the product itself to stick to the article to protect it. Generally, it is mostly used on surfaces that are sensitive to adhesive or glue residues. They are mostly used for glass, lenses, etc. High-gloss plastic surface, acrylic and other very smooth surfaces.

Static electricity is not felt on the outside of the electrostatic film. It is a self-adhesive film with low adhesion and sufficient for high-gloss surfaces.

Electrostatic film specifications can be divided into 0.05mm (thickness) * 1200mm (width) * 200M (length) and 0.08mm (thickness) * 1200mm (width) * 200M (length).

The design voltage of the electrostatic shielding detection instrument is 1000V, which is composed of a discharger and a set of electrodes. The technical indicators of the instrument conform to the provisions of A.7.2, A.7.4.1 to A.7.4.7 in IEC61340-5 -1: 2001.

Size requirements

The size of the bag is not less than 200mm*250mm, and it must have an opening so that the electrode can be fully loaded. The size of the electrode placed in the bag is not less than 100mm and is centered. For bags of other sizes, the electrode should be placed in the center of the bag.

Testing requirements

Place at least 6 samples to be tested in an environment with a relative humidity of 12%±3% (or 50%±3%) for 48h, then put the capacitor electrode of the instrument in the center of the bag, and turn on the power of the discharger After that, read the value on the voltage display connected to the current sensor.

Static electricity test

Using the object's frictional electrification and its distributed capacitance to the earth, the electrostatic charge of the object is tested.

Test Equipment

Faraday tube, friction electrification device, electrostatic electricity meter (contact electrostatic voltmeter, capacitor). The resistance of the Faraday inner cylinder and the input end of the electrostatic electricity meter to the ground end is required to be greater than 1*10^12 ohm.

After rubbing the object to be measured with a friction device, it is placed in a Faraday tube that is electrically connected to the electrostatic electricity meter, and the charge amount is measured.

Test methods for flexible packaging
